I'm creating a server with C++ using Boost ASIO library. Is there a way to get the string representation of a client's IP that can be shown in my server's logs? Does the socket have a function to do this?

This may sound like an odd question (I promise it isn't for schoolwork) but is 0.0.0.0 a valid IP address? I'm trying to get my program to store it as an indication that no address is in use. But I'm worried that it won't use it because it's not valid.
