when i am trying to browsw iis i am getting the error "The server has encountered an error while loading an application during the processing of your request. Please refer to the event log for more detail information. Please contact the server administrator for assistance."

You are configuring IIS on a Windows Server 2003 system. After creating a new home page for your corporate intranet, you wat to make it available to users. YOu are not using redirections of any kind. Where do you place the file? Is the file place in C:\INETPUB\WWWROOT OR C:\IIS\WWWROOT?
