Hi Everyone,

I have a client who has 10 computers . He also have 10 ADSL connections for internet connectivity (all from single ISP). We want to setup the environment in the following way:

we have 2 D-Link simple switches with 24 ports.
What we wanted to do is to connect all ADSL modems to one switch and connect all PC’s to the other switch. and then connect both of switches in such a way that that they all can communicate with each other and we also want to put every computer on different ADSL modem.

i.e.
1st computer :—–
IP address 192.168.1.101
subnet mask 255.255.255.0
Gateway 192.168.1.1 (This is the ip address of 1st ADSL Modem)
DNS 192.168.1.1

2nd computer :—–
IP address 192.168.2.102
subnet mask 255.255.255.0
Gateway 192.168.2.1 (This is the ip address of 2nd ADSL Modem)
DNS 192.168.2.1

3rd computer :—–
IP address 192.168.3.103
subnet mask 255.255.255.0
Gateway 192.168.3.1 (This is the ip address of 3rd ADSL Modem)
DNS 192.168.3.1

and so on up to 10 computers.

Up to 4 computers work perfectly in this configuration and can ping google & yahoo without any time out. but when ever we start 5th ADSL modem for 5th computer then the time outs started to appear on other pc’s randomly . and the lights on the switches started blinking very fast. what i thought is that this is all due to collision in the network.

For interconnectivity of all computers we will add additional IP’s in the network properties of every computer.

so i want to know that how to implement this solution for my network. this is very urgent for me to do.

Kindly answer this ASAP.

p.s. If any one needed any further information then kindly ask.
