Anyone know if any VMWare will run on Eee PC 1005HA, Has Atom N270 Processor, 1GB of Ram

I used to run VMWare alot back in the day when I was in college and I remeber that it was a resource hog. I was wanting to know if anyone had ever tried running it on a Eee PC 1005HA with N270 Atom Processor, 1 GB of Ram in it. I’ve tweaked my performance of it a bit but don’t have the extra money right now for RAM to put in it, just wondering if anybody had detailed use with VMware with this laptop and if I even have a chance of getting VMWare to work with it. I was just reading Margaret Rouse’s post on Intel’s v2 release of their “Atom” CPU, code-named PineView. It’s being hailed as the next step toward a “system on a chip” for netbooks, the “holy grail” of computing. What do you think? Is it a lot of hype, or do you think an SoC solution is on the near horizon?
