IFS folders are suddenly read-only from XP client
Has anyone else had a problem with IFS folders where they have suddenly gone to read-only when accessing them from an XP client using WIndows Explorer and UNC or mapped network drive. I am receiving multiple files and placing them in a directory on the IFS. In a CL, I open the directory OPENDIR then READDIR to process all files. It begins reading the last file written when I need it to start with the first file written. How can this be solved in a CL program?

How do I put something in the IFS Text Field ?
We are using software to store programs for a web site on the IFS. The problem is that when I use “WRKLNK” to view these programs there is nothing in the text field. Is there a way to put something in that field that will describe what the program is? Thanks for any help.
