I picked up this server and want to expand the storage. It came with a 16kGB SATA drive. A look st the specs says it can support a bit over 1TB, howver with 6 slots it would seem I could get a lot more than that. A look at the HP drives that are “compatible” looks like I could get 6TB. So my first questino is: Can I put a combinatio of drives that will exceed the smaller spec?

Next question: I can get a 1TB SATA drive for under $100. Add a drive carrier from HP, I can put a TB in a slot for $135. The questino is, does this server care if it is HP drive?

Any guidance will be greatefully received.
