I have an HP 1320 laserjet printer. The only print options this printer has built in are parallel or USB. We are using the parallel port. The printer is hooked via parallel port to a wyse terminal. The wyse is setup in the control panel to print via parallel port (lpt1) in the LPD settings as printer queue named PRINTER. Then on our terminal server we have a printer queue setup with the 1320 pcl drivers printing to a standard tcp/ip printer printing to the dns name of the terminal. This has worked for a long time with no issues. We do this on a lot of our terminals. Just recently we are getting a JetDirect Diagnostic Page printed out intermittantly throughout the day. Here is the error:

JetDirect Diagnostic Page

An event has occured that has caused the JetDirect to reset. If this event occurs in the future contact your Hewlett-Packard Authorized dealer or your local Hewlett-Packard sales office representative. Keep this sheet as it will provide useful information for evaluating this event on your network.

87ff94 00000001 00000001 00070000

There is no jetdirect card in this printer so this is new to me. Unless HP considers the built-in USB a jetdirect product also. And YES, I do feel like I have carpal tunnel from typing all that error code in!!
