How can we survey our network to determine what if any computers can be upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7? Is there a tool to scan or will we need to run an application on each one? We have AD and can push something out using group policy if this will help.

Does Windows Server 2003 SP2 turn on Firewalls?
All of our windows firewalls are off by group policy. I have read that the windows 2003 sp 2 turns it on anyway. Is this true and if so how can I prevent it? Or do I need to do the updates offline and turn it off manually?
