Hi,

I am looking for an anti-virus program that is exchange aware to
run on a SBS 2008 server that is used as a file server as well as a
mail server. I already have “GFI MailSecurity” installed for scanning
email messages but I want to install something that will scan the rest
of the server without affecting the exchange server. Can anyone
recommend a specific AV?

Thanks

I had 2200 messages in pending submission queue, so I stopped SMTP service, stopped ALL GFI services.when I restarted SMTP ( without GFI running) , all messages were gone, but the never made it to the users’ email boxes.. I have since restarted GFI and everything is now running smoothly as far as email going in and out is concerned…Any way to recover those messages? Where would they have gone to if they’re not in users’ email boxes, and no longer in the Pending Submission Queue?

I’m an IT administrator with a little over 500 end users, running Windows 2000 and XP. One of our users is experiencing a problem with her Internet connection suddenly dropping for no apparent reason. When she restarts her computer, everything works fine for awhile, but then the connection drops again. The funny thing is, she’s noticed that her AOL Instant Messenger service still works even when she can’t access her e-mail. We’ve already run Netstat and noticed that more unknown open connections are being used to certain ports. This particular user has a laptop and works from home frequently, so we’re not sure all updates have been installed.
Has her computer been hacked? If so, what can I do initially to contain the damage, and what steps can I take to prevent such occurrences in the future?
