Hi

Is it advisable to allow external email addresses into a corporations gal ?

Assuming not, what is the best way to allow them ?

Gmail Mailboxes in Exchange GAL

Hi all,
We have a College which have Staff with mailboxes on Exchange 2010.. Students are using Gmail.
We want to be able to view Students Gmail email addresses in an Address List called “Students”.
How is this possible? Do we need to Mail enable all students? We are hoping we can do this by some sort of import without having to mail enabling students in Exchange??

Hello,

We are running exchange 2007 with mix 2003 and 2007 outlook clients. The issue is not in outlook contact info but in OWA. We have phone number in the regular telphone number field and then in then extra numbers in the (other…) button section. Within details template editor the exch admin created a multivalued drop down box and in MS Outlook this displays properly.

Question is how do we get it to display this number from the multivalued drop down box in OWA? There is only one number in there and that is fine.

Exchange 2003 distribution group

I’m running Windows 2003 Server STD with Exchange 2003. I have created
a Distribution Group (global) in the AD but the group does not show up
in the GAL as a distribution list when I look at the GAL within my
Outlook client.

I have one user who cannot seem to see the Global Address List on the Exchange server. It is a new system with a fresh Office 2003 Pro install. Any ideas? I have checked all of the Outlook/Exchange settings and everything is normal; all other users can access the list just fine. Thanks!

For SBS 2008, the user properties does not have the Exchange Advanced tab to hide the user from the Global Address List from Outlook 2007?
