I have a cell that has a word written in it ex. damascus.
now with this formula i need to be able to find the “a” and replace it with “A”.
so it will become dAmAscus.
is this possible?

For example, I typed (in a table) 100 words ending in -d, and I want the same words just without the -d or with -s instead. Or can I join letters to form different words? Copy and paste in Word doesn’t help. Can formulas in Excel do this?
