Need to transfer files (Excel, CSV) from Oracle to Sharepoint
We have a critical requirement wherein we need to automate file transfers from Oracle Apps into a folder in Sharepoint on a monthly basis. We have been informed that the vendor (Sharepoint) does not provide FTP services.

FTP timeout trying to connect
When a clients FTP site is down, our FTP attempt takes 15 minutes or more before it gives up. I need it to quit within 30 seconds. I’ve changed both the inactivity timer and the connection reponse timeout fields but to no avail.

File Transfers using Vista
The file transfer screen looks totally different in Vista. How do you specify a library if it’s not in your library list or check convert to ccsid? I changed file properties before but the Vistas screen does not give you that option. Is there an IBM manual with screen shots?
