Server 2008 failover cluster
I am trying to setup a Server 2008 failover cluster. When I run the Validate a Configuration tool it shows a difference in the updates between the 2 nodes. Node 1 shows no errors but node 2 shows 4 missing updates. They are {C444285D-5E4F-48A4-91DD-47AAAA68E92D}, {A8E86480-A9C1-4414-8AA2-B05A485C82F0}, {5F7F6FFF-395D-480E-8450-64F385D82C5F} and {47740627-D81D-4A45-A215-03B075A18EC7}. Requirement of a shared disk for a failover clustering solution
While it is a stated fact that for a failover clustering solution, the methodology works on the usage of quorum, shared storage (NAS, SAN etc), is there any possibility of not using a shared storage system and yet implement Failover Clustering? Are there any third-party solutions available on the market that provides such a(n) (?)alternative? [...]
