• Partitioning an external hard drive

    I have just bought a new 500gb external hard drive to back up all my files before having the internal hard drives looked at as one of the is overheating and cutting out all the time. How do I partition the new external hard drive so that I have two drives, one of say 100gb and the other 400gb?
