I've placed an old hard drive in a USB external enclosure to rtrieve files. When I try to access the drive I get a message that the drive has not been initalized. How can I accomplish initializing the drive?

  • Create new SQL 2008 database in external drive

My local server using SQL 2008 Express is running low on disk space. Is it possible to create new databases or move a database to an external drive? If so, how is it done, configuration wise? Thanks.
