Check Microsoft’s Transporter Suite for Lotus Notes. It is designed for migrating from Notes to Exchange but it does sync Calenders if I remember correctly

It depends on if the meeting had a read receipt request. Did you get prompted to send a read receipt? You should be able to click “no” to them.

disable internal but allow external emails in outlook/exchange 2003
Not 100% sure but maybe slap a spam filter on your domain name.com to block internal e-mails. When the short period is over remove the spam filter. Just a suggestion
