I received a deleted message from an email with a read receipt from a recipient that I did NOT send the original email to in Outlook. How is this possible?
A simple test would be to send another email to somebody else with a delivery receipt or read receipt to see where your email is going. Maybe the person managing your email is doing something besides managing your service for you.

Exchange OWA logon page problems
Well the problem is solved. We saw in the IIS for the errant server that the rollup folder for the new version was missing from the MSExchangeOWAAppPool on this server. I re-ran the rollup; the folder appeared and now everything is working as it is intended.

Is the laptop allowed to use from outside the network? If yes is the firewall allowing that access to the exchange? Do other users have similar issues ? Do you have an external autodiscover record for the mail server.

Duplicate e-mails in my sent folder – Outlook 2010
Hmm I heard a similar issue with this from a friend he went into the settings and checked “leave a copy of message on server” setting and it stopped duplicating messages. Give it a shot and see how it works.
