Do you mean a BES? BIS is just Blackberry Internet Service. BES is a Blackberry Enterprise Server on which you add bb accounts to interface with your Exchange server. Have you restarted the bb services on the BES? Try that or rebooting the BES server.

Upgrading from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2008?
I am guessing you mean Exchange 2007. The only thing you have to do is build out your Exchange 2007 server. Once that is built you can move users’ mailboxes to the new server. <a href=”http://www.msexchange.org/articles_tutorials/exchange-server-2007/migration-deployment/practical-look-migrating-exchange-2003-exchange-2007-part1.html”>Here is a good guide for you.</a>

Searching PST files remotely
The only thing you can do is search each one one at a time. You would have to log into each computer and search for the pst file and open it in your outlook profile. This seems an extremely tedious operation. What is it you are trying to accomplish?

POP3 does not “sync” with the server. What you do once it is in the outlook account on the PC is independent of what occurs on the server. Your only option is to change the setting to leave a copy on the server or not. Go to File, info, account settings, click the data files [...]
