Is this a single Exchange server site? Is the Exchange server part of and organization with other Exchange servers with which it replicates?

Outlook sends err msg about not enough space to store client-only rules when you try to enter more than ~20 rules
A few questions. 1. Are you using Exchange server and if so, what version? 2. What version of Outlook is this that is presenting the error?

Upgrading Exchange 2000 Standard to Exchange 2003 Enterprise.-2
Join your new Exchange Server to the existing organization. Use the Exchange System Manager on the 2003 server to move the mailboxes since it’s multi-threaded, and will move 4 mailboxes at a time. You can also queue up all the mailboxes and just let it run. Then move your system mailboxes, fix your connectors to [...]

Exchange 5.5 And 2003 and Public Folder
Hi, Sounds like your experiencing a compatibility issue between the 5.5 server and your 2003 version. In native mode Windows Server 2003 w/ Exchange 2003 will require full AD compatibility with other servers on the network to function fully i.e. replication tasks etc. In addition, there are many different technologies and changes to existing technologies [...]

Upgrading Exchange 2000 Standard to Exchange 2003 Enterprise.
Bugwit, Are you staying with the same Exchange Organization or are you migrating to a new one? Also of interest would be do you have budget for third party tools? If so there are several tools that have been used by several firms with good results. If you are building Exchange 2003 in the same [...]

recovering a deleted exchange mailbox
Exchange doesn’t normally delete the mailbox straight away. Have you checked in System Manager in the mailbox store to see if it’s still there; disconnected with a red cross next to it? If you got lucky you need to create a new user without a mailbox then you can attach this deleted mailbox back to [...]

sync problem with outlook web access
By default exchange does a decent job in configuring ActiveSync on it’s own. so as long as you don’t change any setting, things should work out fine Make sure, check the Exchange Features tab in Active Directory Users & Computers for each user account that needs this feature. It should show Enabled for the User [...]

Reverse DNS
What filter do you have in place? I’m lazy when it comes to it. I prefer to employ a third party to do it for me. Mail is passed down to me from an SMTP host that has EMF (www.emailsystems.com) installed on it. They also do a managed service. This seems to be very effective [...]

Email Spoofing?
In short YES. I have seen this before where the TO: field is populated with another name yet other accounts (users) will also get this email. Depending on the header information, the information is limited. Either they’re using some sort of mass mailer that actually hides all the BCC: or CC: recipients or they’re mailing [...]

Configuring SMTP Connector with delivery restriction
What happens if you deny all and leave the allow box empty? No mail should pass through the connector at all to the outside world. Internal mail is not affected by these settings. You will need to restart the smtp service after changes. If you succeed in blocking all OGM try just adding a user [...]

Exchange 5.5: OWA Site
If some users can access their OWA, but others have issues you may need to re-register some DLLs on the remote PC/laptops (We’ve struck this before several times). This can be an issue if the remote PCs are using a “Customised” version of IE6.x 1. Log into the laptop as a local administrator 2. open [...]

Exchange User Logon Information

Exchange 2000 server: 1-2 clients receiving Outlook error “0x800CCC0F”
Have you researched this at all on Tech Net? At the risk of duplicating information you already have, the drror code “0x800CCC0F” resolves to a dropped connection of some sort. The MS KB article here (KB 813514): http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;813514 Are you running IIS? If so, this articlew may shed some light on what is happening (although [...]

Notes 6.5.1 is not Forwarding Attachments
The times we had this problem, we found that our users were over their quota and Notes would not add the attachments onto outgoing memos. We would see a littl graphic that looked like an attachment but was not the attachment itself. Did you set up quota limits? Beyond that, I can’t even imagine this [...]
