Microsoft Outlook 2007 access denied problem
Is this an exchange email connection or a POP3 connection? If exchange, what version of exchange? When you say it denies you access are you getting prompted for your credentials when you open outlook? You can change that behavior through the mail icon in the control panel. Have you tried removing and re-adding your profile?

Have you installed the latest service packs and rollups for Exchange and Outlook? You did not mention what version of Exchange. If you have not done this, try the updates and see if that resolves it.

No setting that I know of, no. Rather than “save and close” can they accept? Could be the new version is ensuring when meeting notices are forwarded the organizer will be notified.

You should research third party Exchange Monitoring software. There are many out there. We use Quest Spotlight on Exchange. Otherwise your desktop security team should have monitoring in place to see this as well.

Is this happening to all users or just you? If just you try removing and re-creating your profile in Outlook, take Outlook off of cached mode if it is in cached mode. Do a send/receive of the offline address book and if you are getting errors please say what they are exactly. Thank you.
