We have Exchange 2003 and the mail domain is @domain.com. We now have a new domain @second.com that is coming in through our exchange server. I set it up correctly to receive these on an individual basis (putting it in as another email address on a user), but I’d rather set up the new email address from the different domain as a distribution group using our users on the server, but using the different domain (example@second.com). I can set up a distribution group with the server’s domain (example@domain.com) but I can’t get the distribution group to work for @second.com email addresses. I’m sure I’m not doing some settings right. Any help? Thanks!

We have an Exchange 2000 server that was only used for inter-office messaging within an application. This application is no longer used and all users have POP3 accounts. When the exchange server is down, nobody is able to open outlook. How can I set up the outlook clients to no longer be bound to the the exchange server? Some users have mail going to personal folders and others to the mailbox. Is there an easy way to get existing mail out of the mailbox and put into a personal folder on their new WTS server profile? Thanks

Hi

We are in the process of upgrading from MS Exchange 2000 to MS Exchange 2007 for starters, before eventually moving to 2010 end of this year. We have encountered numerous errors in the process of moving (replicating) public folders from the legacy platform to either 2003 or 2007. Can you assist with a step by step procedure on how best to do this. We have tried various websites for reference to no avail…

The most prominent error we are getting is c103b401 from the Exchange 2000 server each time we try to access folder properties

We are in the process og migrating from Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2003. Before we go through this process I was wondering if there was a method out there to use to determine how many mailboxes or the total size we can migrate within an 8-hour window. What we are trying to do is to let our client know that these users, such as those on mailbox store #1 or users with last name beginning with A – D will not be able to access their mail from 11 pm to 6 am.
