User Can't see GAL (Outlook 2003/Exchange 5.5)

I have a user on one of my sites that cannot see the company GAL. This particular site is running Outlook 2003 as the email client, and Exchange 5.5. I am new to Exchange, and I realise this is a very old version of Exchange, I would appreciate any pointers. thanks.

Just a quick thing. On Exchange 5.5 if a user is on more than one distribution list and an e:mail is sent to these two or more distribution list (so the user is listed 2 or 3 times) will the user recieve duplicates of the same e:mail or will 5.5 realise it's the same and only deliver one?

Running exchange 5.5, messages from certain domains do not reach the recipient on our network. The messages make it through our spam filter, and show as going to the queue to be delivered, but they never get there. Where can I go in Exchange 5.5 to view message queues? TIA
