Dear All

can anyone explain may i install my exch server 2007 without any domain controller (stand alone server) and can create users in only mail server not in DC server.

my actual question is independency of mail server exch 2007 to Domain controller for Active directory users or other related information.

currently i m running my exch 2007 on asingle server alongwith these (HUB transport, CAS, Mailbox Server) features with Domain Controller 2003 server.and published my mail server on ISA 2006 server.

Exchange 2007 error on installation 0×80072030

have installed exchange 2007 on a new 64x box. DC, DNS, DHCP
andExchange 2003 were in another box. Exchange 2003 was running
fine before installing Exch2007.
The installation of Exch2007
setup process went fine. It copy allmailboxes etc. However Im not able
to demote 2003 because of this error:Setup failed while installing
sub-component Domain-level permissionswith error code 0×80072030
(please consult the installation logs for adetailed description). You
may cancel the installation or try thefailed step again.

Hello,

I am new in exchange 2007. recently we have installed Ms exchange in our small company with mail boxe and transports roles. After installation and few configurations we have tested and we could sent mails.

Now i have the following error and we can not connects clients: Pls any idea? because i took 2 days without solution:

3- You do not have sufficient permissions to perform this command.

The following permissions are required to perform this command:

Exchange View-Only Administrator and local administrators group for the target server.

4- Credentials have been cached for an unpriviledged user.

Try removing the entry for this server from Stored User Names and Passwords.

I’m looking for a HCL for Exchange 2007. We are planning to install Exchange 2007 on a IBM I5/OS, Version 6 Release 1 Mod 0, H Bladecenter. I cannot seem to find an HCL for Exchange 2007, only Server 08. Also we have in place 2 Exchange 03 servers now in the netowrk on same subnet one is on the I5 H Bladecenter now, the other is on stand alone hadware. Both Exhcange 03 versions are 6.5 Build 7638.2 SP2, running on a 2003 server SP2 (on I5), and a 2000 server SP2. Any consideration will be appreciated.

I want to install exchange 2007 into x64 bit system with wondows2003 sp2 enterprise edition. My active directory is in primary DNS server on wondows2003 stnd. edition .
How can I create additional domain controller in the new wondows2003 server.
What is the use of adprep series commands?
