Hi I am trying to create a separate Exchange 2010 server in a child domain that we have configured. We have an existing Exchange 2007 server in our root domain college.ac.uk and have a child student.college.ac.uk domain. We have configured a separate DC for the child domain also. However when we launch the EMC is still shows the college.ac.uk mailboxes. We would just like to display the student.college.ac.uk accounts and keep the two systems separate. We are trying to set up a separate domain for students and also an Exchange server for them so that we can keep the two servers apart enabling us to create policies specific to them and also to give them a username@student.college.ac.uk email address. Is this possible and could someone point me in the right direction of what I need to do to achieve this. Thanks

The requirement is for the child domain to be able to send emails to each other but NOT to the internet or the parent domain.

Is this possible to do with E2K7?

Transport rules can stop the users mailing out of the organization but we want to stop them mailing to the parent domain. We would also like to stop them seeing the parent domain GAL. Is this possible or are we asking too much?
