Is the retention period (e.g. 30 days) referring to the date of the email or the date the email was placed in the Deleted Items folder?

We have exchange 2007 and several connectors on the hub transport servers. I put my XP machine’s ipaddress in for a system to be able to relay, basically for testing the SMTP port. Still says “could not open connection to the host on port 25, connect failed.”

Adding Watchguard static IP for new Exchange server

I’m having a total brain fart. I set this up before but can’t remember how I did it. I have one static IP for External interface. I have a second static IP set to my MX address.

.114 is my main external IP. I have .115 as my mail.server.com record.

I tried adding the .115 as a secondary IP to the .114 but it won’t let me. Am I going about this the wrong way?

This displays for a newly created user in Outlook 2007 connecting to Exchange 2007. Only this one user has the problem. Cannot see any user info when trying to schedule a meeting. Have seen a few issues like this but not pertaining to one user.

Hi,

How can i set an option. when new mail box created in exchange 2007, an auto generated mail has to go to the user mail box .This mail should contain company IT policy and others or Company’s induction presentation.

If any one knows this option in Exhcange 2007 , please help me

Our exchange 2007 server may be sending duplicate Email, more specifically a users mailbox may be. How can I locate to see if this is the case and what is causing this to happen?
