Career Advise DW & BI background + MBA

Hi,

I have a 5 years of expericence as ETL Developer in Informatica. I want to get an MBA degree. Before investing my time, efforts and money, I would like to know:

1. what are the benefits of getting an MBA with DW&BI exp?
2. what is the designation or salary growth in short (ROI) I should expect?
3. which concentration in MBA is better for me? or is getting an Masters in Information System beneficial for me?

The proposed data warehouse platform will be a 64 bit platform – both OS and SQL2K5. Will there be any issues with drivers or anything else you can think of as I’ll be pulling data (ETL processes will reside on the 64 bit platform) from multiple databases on 32 bit OS and SQL2K5 platforms?

ETL development and testing

Hi,
I am inspectingthe BI delivery methods in my company looking for new efficient ways. We are working in the traditional “water flow” methodswere requierments being translated by development to ETL packages, testers translate it there way to some SQL script and compare both results of the SQL scripts and the package.
Seems to me that instead of writtng the same solution twice it is better to have one process of close cooperatino between development and testing using the same platform, methods and tool.
I am looking for a new methology, examples of similiar implementation in other companies.
