Audit Question - Force user signoff after inactivity

I am auditing a client and would like to know what setting they should set to have the system log off the user from AS400 after a period of inactivity. Currently, they have setting as QINACTMSGQ = *ENDJOB, but not sure if this would log the user off the system or does it have to be set to *DSCJOB...

How to monitor job activity on AS/400

How is it possible to tell on AS/400 that the program (RPG) is just "idling" on the screen and the user is not really using it ? I need the way to monitor it to end the job if the program is not being used.

I have created a program (and clp) that works perfect. There's just one little problem. I need for the clp to terminate after about 30 to 40 seconds. I did this over 10 years ago, but I have no idea on how. I have the object, but not the source to the original clp. Thank You, Douglas L McDuffie
