Could anybody tell me the procedure to configure the net connections to Eclipse IDE?

Actually, my problem is, i need to install new plugins for Eclipse, as per forums i can install them by using the “Software Updates –> Find And Install” option…But when i gave the URL, its saying net connection problems.

So, i need to configure the net connections.
