Any open source tools to test desktop applications using Java?

We have a Test Framework in Java. This framework is used to test client-server and web applications. To test webapplications we are recording application flows for wrappers/Action keywords using Selenium IDE. Selenium provided Java driver to execute the recorded selenium specific code in wrappers.

Similarly I want to use our test framework to test desktop applications. I know AutoIT (opensource) can be used to record the desktop application flows, but AutoIT is not providing Java support to invoke the recorded wrappers from our test framework.

Is there any tools using which we can record desktop application flows and the recorded scripts can be executed using Java?

Please share your experiences.

Hi, I’m deploying a website that uses a couple of webservices. the website works perfectly on the internal network but users trying to access it from outside the network receive an error like “WSE910: An error happened during the processing of a response message…”.

Unfortunately because this happens from outside the network, I cannot debug the web application to find out the root cause of the problem.

I’m pretty new to this whole WSE thing and don’t get it fully, how do I configure the website and the webservices to work nicely with each other from the external environment?
