The Access form will not accept olebound .jpg pictures. The form is referencing a table with an OLE Object field definition. The picture frame on the form is created using OLEbound object frame. When using Insert Object’ and finding the file containing the .jpg picture, only the jpg tag and the name of the picture are put into the form, it does not open the picture and place it on the form. I recently downloaded Internet Explorer 8.

I am using VB6, and OLE Object for linking and oppening files, now I am getting error oppening Files in JPG Format. Is there any way I can resolve this issue?

Lotus notes through ABAP

I have two lotus notes user accounts installed in my machine. Using SAP-ABAP language using OLEObject, I want to send email. It is working fine with one user account but with two user accounts installed I cannot send mail even from any of the two accounts. Please help

Extracting OLE objects attachments in Lotus Notes

I’ve written an utility in VB .NET that is able to extract file attachments from a NotesDocument and this works fine. I’m having challenges now with a particular email that has a MS Word document embedded into the body, whose content is part of the body.
So basicllay it’s an OLE Embedded attachment. Does anyone know of a way I can extract this out to the filesystem. This is something I need to do programmatically and not do through a UI because I need to run it unattended in a batch.

Even if I get some sample code in LotusScript, I can work with that and try porting it to .NET.

Copying documents attacment to a new doc as an OLE object

I’m building an application (-agent actually-) which should take the attachment of the received mail document and create a new document holding this attachment (usually pdf file) as OLE object.

I have all bits and pieces ready except taking the attachment from inbound maildoc and attaching it to new doc as new OLE object.

remarks
*Taking file, saving it to the hard-drive and making OLE object from file on the hd is not working solution at this point. The script is meant to be running as an agent in the server and due to server restrictions in new file writing this will not work.

I already have a solution which transfers the attachment. This is poor solution for my case because it is essential to preview the doc when document is opened. With OLE implementation this could be easily done.

Here’s the actual codepart which needs to be altered

How do I activate specific worksheets when importing from Excel

I have a script in Lotus Notes that imports data from a excel spreadsheet. I want to be able to always activate a specfic sheet every time the script runs.

Currently I am using this method and it directs to the last saved(active) sheet.
Set xlsSheet = xlsWorkBook.ActiveSheet

I tired this method but got a Lotus Notes error 213.
Set xlsSheet = xlsWorkBook.Worksheets(1)

What method should I use?
