If a developer implements code for some module and wants it reviewed, what should be the order?

1. First unit test the module after designing test cases for the module, debugging and fixing the bugs and then give the modified code for peer code review.

or

2. First do the code review with peers and then go for unit testing?

What are the known issues in functioanl testing of an application after sybase upgrade from v12 to v15? I have to test around 15 applications after a major upgrade in Sybase from v12.5.4 to v15.0.3.

Hello,
Could you guys recommend me a qa tool for automated regression/functional testing (open source or free tools are preferred) for testing a web application that contains a lot of javascript for opening pop-up windows, redirects etc.
I’m using HTTPUnit ans Selenium but these tools are not handling well pop-up windows and redirects.

Is Functional Testing sufficient to determine the Code Coverage?

Is Functional Testing (User acceptance tests (business transaction flows), +ve input tests, -ve input tests) sufficient to determine the Code Coverage?

Do we see any additional coverage when we do non-functional testing (example: load testing with the same inputs used in functional testing)? If so, How?

How to identify creative test cases which finds unique bugs and accelerates the quality product releases to the market?

100% testing is time consuming. Also we can’t spend our time & effort on test cases that are finding the bugs that are already found by other test cases.

So, we need to come up with only creative test cases which finds UNIQUE bugs and helps in accelerating the quality product in time to the market.

Any efficient test strategies (or) test case generation tools available for the generation of creative test cases ?
