How can I resolve Windows xp pro not powering down ?
after telling the operating system to shutdown, after a few seconds you receive the screen saying “it is now safe to turn off your computer”. instead of just powering down on its own.

powerpoint presentation contains a lot of jpeg files. |It is 220MB. I cannot open it, even on other PCs. I have burny a CD of it. Are there any tools available that can help me reduce the size of this monster.
