We have 50 other computers on the same network with out a problem.

Tried changing the IP address but get the same thing. The only way we can get both on at the same time is to connect one unit to a router with auto IP.

The one unit has new hard drive with a new Windows install and first time set-up.

We get an error 721: The remote computer did not respond.

I’am at location domain1.com, when we want to connect via our LAN with MS VPN (PPTP) to domain2.com we get this error. But when a user from domain2.com is on our LAN, they can connect to domain2.com, no problem. When a PC that connects from domain1.com but is not on the actual AD domain but standalone, it can connect from domain1.com to domain2.com.

I suspect is something to do with the domain, not sure. You help will be mush appreciated.

I have a weird problem with one email account (mine) that I feel is exchange related and not client related. When I receive new emails the system marks them as read after about 4 minutes. This happens on the server because all new emails older than 4 or so minutes are already marked as read when I open the client. I have NO rules set, No options set (tools >options >other >reading pane) and I have the reading pane turned Off. I’ve blown away my Outlook profile, Outlook client, Office 2007 suite and reloaded – still the same problem. I’ve used another pc and same results. I do have a mobile device but it has been completly powered Off since this started yesterday morning. If I log onto OWA the same issue is there. Anyone else seen this?

We have custom web forms that have a fit running on Dell Optiplex gx520 and 620 machines.
After updating the jvm.dll so jinit 1.3.1.22 will run on IE7, Dell Optiplex gx520 and 620 machines begin to run the app but then a message reading something like “The instruction at memory location XXXXXXXX could not be executed IE will now…” and ie closes. On most of these optiplex machines I am able to set the processor scheduling and memory usage both to Programs and the virtual memory to 2046-4092 and it generally works, except for 2 optiplex machines.
