I am leasing a remote deicated server with 8 IP adresses (5 usable)… the O/S is Windows Server 2003. I can access the server using windows remote desktop connection from my home and see the server desktop, surf the internet from the server, etc… My question is this: Is it possible to surf the internet from each of my 5 useable IP addresses? I can login to each of the 5 IPs using remote desktop connection, but when I check my IP at a place like ‘whatismyip.com’, all 5 appear as the top, or first IP in the block… It seems they are all being routed through one IP (the main one)… I want to be able to rotate IPs somehow and appear to ‘whatismyip.com’ as xxx.xx.xx.01, xxx.xx.xx.02, etc… upon choosing each of the 5… I hope this question makes sense… Thank you…

I am researching different Hosting companies with dedicated servers that we can look at moving to. I need to know some information when I am looking at these different companies about the SQL server. We are currently running SQL Server Enterprise 2000. I have seen that the companies are offering MSSQL 2005 in Express, Workgroup, Standard or Enterprise. Which of these versions can we move to and not interrupt service to our clients?
