Running server applications in Windows XP mode on Windows 7 pro?
Can we run applications that live on the server using xp mode on a windows 7 pro machine? The server is running Windows server 2003 r2 and the apps use dcom.

Compatibility testing for Windows DCOM
We run several custom applications that use Windows DCOM. How can we test if the applications will work when we upgrade from Windows XP SP3 to Windows 7? Are there compatibility testing applications?

Windows Server 2008 64Bit DCOM issue
In Win Server 2008 under DCOM config (dcomcnfg.exe) all components that can be distributed Location Tab property “Run Application on this computer” is disabled. We are logged in as Administrator of the machine. But we are unable to get this to turn enabled. On the non-64bit versions all are fine. Anyone have any ideas?
