In DBCA, Its not Showing all the database in the list
In DBCA, After selecting the ” ORACLE SINGLE INSTANCE DATABASE” and Click next Button, There In list of Available database its not Showing all the database in that server Please let me know where we specify those database name to be picked by DBCA, I have checked in TNSNAMES.ora & LISTENER.ora but no Success..

Not able to set preferred credentials on OEM console
using Oracle 10gR2 on Windows 2003 server. I can’t setup the preferred credentials on the Job scheduler screen on the console. I also have the email issue. Where does Oracle automatic backup create the backup file?
I have created one database through DBCA on Oracle 10.1.0.2.0 and choose automatic backup daily at 2 am. But I cannot see any backup that is done under Oracle flash recovery area. Does it create in any other place? No error message was found in alertlog. Any ideas?

Oracle 9i how to create dictionary managed tablespace
Hi, How can i create database with SYSTEM as dictionary-managed in Oracle 9i?. DBCA creates by default a database with locally managed system tablespace. How can i change it? Thanks in advance.
