Determining which concatenated dataset is being processed by a COBOL program
I’d like to determine which dataset in a group of concatenated datasets is currently being processed. I have multiple datasets going through an edit process (COBOL) on a mainframe and when I find an error I’d like to list the DSN the record is in.

Rexx program working abnormally sometimes when executed through JCL
I have a Rexx program to browse a very big dataset(say 75,000 lines) and then add 1 or 2 lines then save and end. This is working fine in online or batch execution provided dataset has only few records. However it works fine for all if running in ISPF panel itself, but through jcl execution [...]

How can I solve Unrecognized object: GTHEME at 1628
i still got this message in ARCview, after o paste the file from desktop garp in the ARCview folder. this is to help to create custom datasets according to the user’s manual.

How to combine variables
In my data set, I have four variables that have the same codes in them. The four variables relate to the same question that was given four different times to the same people. How do I get all of their responses under one variable so that I can work with it
