Are there ports / API’s for import of systems management data from the likes of OS/400 and some of the other legacy platforms?

last day i installed one new xp theam on my xp system. recently i noticed that “RUN” option deleted from my start menu.
can anybody help me in this problem ?

Recently I tried to make a back up of one desktop, after mounting system says process failed. Here I?m pasting log report of back up process

security problem

Hello,

I have small workgroup having 10 computers in my office. I do some personal work in office like using yahoo messenger, checking personal e-mails and some online banking site. But how does one of my senior knows it? I do everything lonely and securely so that nobody in the office knows it. But he knows everything about my sites I visit everyday. He has also cracked my yahoo password twice. He even knows it, if I open any site for a few seconds in a day.

My question is, is there any website or any program which can track the details of LAN computers?

I think he is using that to find out everything about my computer. I use win 2000 with service pack 4 and he uses win xp sp2. Windows defender is also installed in my computer.

Any help on this would be highly appreciated.

Application Access Control Management

Is there an enterprise wide software management program that can manage access to our web-based applications, vendor specific programs located thru out the entire company, and our MS applications, including MS Outlook? In other words, we would like to control all of the various software programs and applications thru the use of one product. For example, an employee termination would trigger the inactivation of all of that person’s access priveleges.

Mainframe quality assurance testing tools

I need to find a quick and cheap mainframe testing tool for an insurance application. The client will not spend the dollars till the concept is proven. I have looked for open source for the mainframe and found nothing. The client is running a batch system processing input are batch claims. Any help or direction would be great.

Allow regular user to unlock screensaver locked computer

We have the problem that in a multiuser environment users either lock their computers, or have the screensaver automatically lock it, and leave the workstation. As a result, nobody else can use that computer. By default, only the current user or an adminstrator can unlock the computer. I would like to allow select users who don’t have administrator access to unlock the computer.

Is there a group policy or Windows Security setting that would allow some of my users (i.e. non administators) to unlock a workstation?

So far all I can find is a third party application ( Unlock Administrator http://www.e-motional.com/ULAdmin.htm ) This program seems to do the trick but I obviously would prefer to do this through GP.

Any suggestions?
