Sorry Meandyou, I have worked on both. I-series is as good as mainfram plus simpler to use. Maybe SAP runs better on mainframe, not quite sure. But i-series machines are just great!

Can you combine two 64 ISDN BRI channels into one 128 line?
It should be doable using Multichassis Multilink PPP (MMP) offered by Cisco IOS. You might have to check the compatibility of features of the IOS and hardware on Cisco sites. Also, you might have to check capability of the Windows NT supplied by the service provider. Hope this helps. -Sudhanshu
