I have a project involving an DS400 SAN connected to 2 Intel Servers IBM345 running Windows Server2003
Did you choose network attached or server attached setup? If network – yes, both or either. If server connect configuration was used then you have to switch controllers and that requires a restart – I think? I have only worked with one and it is network attached.

Hi, Why not go for MS Software Update Services (SUS)? Once installed, you can then define Group Policy which will help you to update all the client machines automatically. More info at: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserversystem/sus/susdeployment.mspx

Considerations for making norent programs reentrant.
Use AMODE(31),RMODE(ANY) to allow your programs to run above the line. Re-entrant programs stay in memory after they are called the first time (to eliminate load time for the second and subsequent calls). As a result, working storage variables have te be re-initialized (by the program) at the beginning of each call.

Saving Mails sent through SMTP
Please clarify – is your “SMTP server” the SMTP component of Exchange, or is it a separate product either on the same physical box or on a different server? It depends on your software implementation, but if memory serves me correctly, the SMTP standard does not make allowances for message saving. In theory, it should [...]
