I have a problem trying to display a report header at the correct time on a report I am building in Access (2003).

Lets pretend I have a report with 3 levels (cuz I do!!!): Proposal, Supplier and Parts. The report is for the Proposal. It is grouped by Supplier and then has a subreport for the Parts under that supplier. Sometimes, there are enough parts to spill onto a second page, sometime not. I would like my Part subfrm header to view on the second page. Works great, but the problem is when I have forced a new page by supplier and that page in the report is not the first page, I get the part headers above the supplier info.

What I want is to have the part header info only displayed on pages where the Supplier level info is not on the page. How do I do that. I have played with Report headers, page headers and group headers and I can not get the report to display as I wish.

Just in case you need more clarification because I can not explain this very well:

Supplier 1 has a long parts list that flows onto page 2. Do not display part head on supplier page 1 (which is report page 1), yes on page 2 (which is report page 2).

Supplier 2 has a short parts list on 1 page. Do not display part header on supplier page 1 (which is report page 3).

Supplier 3 has a long parts list that flows on 3 pages. Do not display part header on supplier page 1 (which is now report page 4), yes on page 2 and 3 (which is now report page 5 and 6).

And so forth.

Thanks

Greetings,

I have an objective that’s been driving me in circles….

Windows XP
Office 2007

I need to figure out how to convert “multiple” Microsoft Access reports into one pdf file through vba. Access 2007 has easy way to convert one report at a time to pdf, however, I cannot figure out how to access the Acrobat Distiller to convert multiple reports at once. There are several useful Add Ins that allow for “Multiple Report Conversion”, but I would need someway of accessing the add ins dll through vba.

Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas?

Would be greatly appreciated…
