  • Character limit for a column in an Oracle database

    I'm looking to store different postal codes in my Oracle database. I believe the column will be a VARCHAR2. I know the U.S. codes are 9 and Canadian codes are 7. Would 32 characters be efficient enough for the limit in the column? Or should I go higher? Thanks!
