Would I be able to backup my MySQL database automatically (throughout each day) to my designated Windows Server? If that's not possible, how about a email attachment? Thanks for the help.

  • PostgreSQL to SQL Server database migration

Our department has a PostgreSQL database that we need to move over to SQL Server. That includes both the schema and all the data. It's becoming a very slow process manually and we need something automatically. What should we do here? We're currently moving over the tables one-by-one.

  • Maximum size for MySQL table

Does anyone know the maximum size for a MySQL table? Is it close to 5-10 million for 80GB. If that's the case, should I compress all of my data? Or should I split the table instead?

In my MySQL row, I have very important data that I don't want changed at all. Can I set that row to read-only so no one can update / change it? If that's not possible, is there another way I can make sure the data isn't changed? Appreciate the support.
