Database report output shows multiple pages

When I run a report, I see multiple pages, but running the query directly on the database using TOAD gives me only one record. How do I find why the query gives multiple pages? I can ofcourse set printing option as “First Page” for all the fields, but I need to know why the duplication occurs.

We have grouped according to our Accoutname field from databse. now we want to fetch only the first record from the group as we want one condition to be applied only on first record of the group and for rest another condition.this we want in every group not only one!!

Hello,
Am currently using actuate 8 as a reporting tool.The major problem encountered is to deal with flat files with fields separated with other delimiters other than commas.For example I encountered a flat file delimited with back slash am unable to tackle.Is there any way out in Actuate 8 or other programming languages? Please help.

Is it possible to get a “new user” report when the only date is used also for date they used services?

The only fields in the table are Student ID, First Name, Last Name, Date of service and hours used.

Grouping in a report

I want to group sets of data (from a query) in a report. The report will have a static header and footer (info from another query). I want a new page generated with each new grouping.
