Replicator and cluster replicator task

If two servers are in cluster then does the cluster replicator task run on both the servers or on an single server?

Similarly if we have established replication between servers, does the replicator task run on single or both the servers???

I am reorganizing the datastores for DR replication. Problem is I have a couple of servers that have a data drive on different data store than the vmx file. When I tryo to move the vm to another datastore it wants to drag the data drive with it. How can I storage vmotion the vm server from one data store to another without moving the associated data drive?

Ex: VM server on DS1 with large data drive on DS4. Want to storage vmotion VM server to DS2 while the data drive remains on DS4.

When replication methode logical is used. And there is a change in tables or in fields will this be replicated or will only the data be replicated?

Hi,

I am a Domino Developer and using Domino 8.5.

One of my databases (8GB)does not replicate all the documents to all servers.

Error:

Unable to store document in CPT01/SJohns Debt CollectS Johnscdb.nsf (NoteID = 5941202) from Debt Collect/S Johns/cdb.nsf (NoteID = 6315334): You are not authorized to perform that operation (for each document)

I have googled and searched everywhere and did what they say but still not working.

I have checked that the LocalDomainServers have all rights.

I have deleted the replication history.

What happened:
I created a reader field [BranchAccess] on a form with roles [DBN] [PTA] [CPT] [PMB] I also cleared the $readers field. Since that day the error started.

My final option I see is to delete all databases at branches and replicate again but this will take 2 to 3 days per branch and there are 4 branches and we can not affort to stand still.

Is there any other way to clear the security/encryption/authorization on bulk documents?

I have a GB link to a remote office and would like to replicate data to another SAN at the remote location. How do I set up a DR virtual LAN (VLAN) at the production site to replicate and switch over users in the event of a disaster?

Ensuring the same data is served when using multiple load balanced servers

I have a Web server and I need to add another Web server. We will use a load balancer to take care of distributing the load between the 2 Web servers. Users are capable of uploading files and data via FTP and HTTP.

I need a technique that will help me make replication for these files and data between my 2 servers so that users will see the same content while browsing from any of the available servers. Can someone offer any advice or suggestions?

We are considering the use of Oracle Data Stream to replicate data from operations database to a separate Helpdesk database. Our users require near real-time data loaded in the helpdesk database. What are the constraints imposed by Oracle streams for table design? Does it require for tables structure (including ordering of columns) to be identical in both databases? Can we have different PKs columns in tables of two databases?

I would like to know whether synchronous replication is possible between EMC DMX4 and EMC Clariion Cx3-80 storage systems. I understand MirrorView software replicates only between two Clariion CX models and SAN Copy configured on the Clariion CX3-80 could only do asynchronous replication, but does not provide the complete end-to-end protection.

We are looking to build a warm DR site across town. How are other companies managing to duplicate their data in a reasonable time to another location? We are looking to copy around 150 GB per day. We don’t need up to the minute data, up to the hour or two is acceptable.
