    I was just reading about parity on searchstorage.techtarget.com and have a question about 3 bit parity vs. 1 bit parity. I understand the setting to 0 for an even # of bits and setting to 1 for an odd #. Doesn't seem very reliable because you could lose 2 bits in data transmission. Just wondering...
