  • What data do you consider critical?

    We all backup our system data and store it to protect against a worst case scenario.  But what steps did you take to determine what data is actually critical?  Have you ever gone through a system restore and realized that what you should have considered critical was not backed up?

  • IBM Netfinity 5500 servers, motherboard hit by lightning. Trying to recover data

    I need some serious help here. A client of mine had his old IBM netfinity 5500 server hit by lightning and the motherboard is toast. Problem is, he has no backup, and I'm trying to recover the data. The data sits on a 10 disk drive array, RAID 5. He has a spare Netfinity 5500 that isn't being used....
