i am using endian firewall as proxy server, problem is this i have a one secure site when i use that via proxy it’s give me a error but without proxy it’s working fine…

is there any way that i use to bypass that site in windows.

Setting up network Wifi, while still using a proxy server

I currently have a network setup with 5 wired computers, running into a router, feeding from a computer with two NIC cards.

NIC 1 – internet

NIC 2 – Proxy server.

I want to turn this exact setup into WIFI,

however, I do not want the users to have to setup the proxy settings each time they use the wifi. (browser settings internet settings proxy settings, I want to avoid this and rather have the router, or some software do the work)

Is this possible? what options do I have?

Any help or direction would be wonderful.

Hi, Iam a user within our cooperate network and just recently I have noticed that everytime I tried to hook to the internet, it seems that the connection failed. I tried several times, but just couldn’t help. I even go to the tools on my browser, >>internet option to check might there is any change to our proxy server address but couldn’t find anything wrong. For sure I know that I won’t be able access the cooperate email as well. Therefore I thought might there is a problem with the adapters so I check the device manager but sees all up and running. I tried checking the cat 5 but its ok. I tried tracert to the dhcp and it failed, I tried pinging the dhcp and it failed as well. No problem with IP addressing cos its dhcp job.

OK when I bring in a laptop or another computer and hook it to the same connection, it just work perfecty. So for me my suspicion is on the pc itself.

But what I want is to discuss this so that I solve the problem or even share it with my IT staffs.

Inter Vlan Routing

Hello. I have 5 vlans working on my network i.e 192.168.80.0, 81.0, 82.0, 83.0, 84.0, 85.0 . i have one core switch where all L2 switches are connected. and router is connected with L2 switch. caz its in another building so cant connect with L3 3750 switch. and i have configured 5 subinterfaces in routers and all clients has DG of its own vlan subinterface router. i have dhcp server in my vlan 81.0 . i have also configured helper address whcih is pointed to that DHCP server in 81.0 . my proxy server address is 81.20 . now the question is this that how could my clients from other vlans use internet from proxy server. caz for proxy server it must be DG. and for inter vlan routing the DG must be routers subinterface. plz help me in this regard if someone could. thanx in advance

Hi,
I was trying to test using Jmeter 2.3.4 . My test plan uses http Proxy server set to record the actions on the browser.
My testplan tree has a cookie manager, test steps and a view result tree listener.
I was able to record the actions (login) properly. But during replay
Home page url gave the below error when replayed with redirect automatically checked.
Response code: Non HTTP response code: java.net.ProtocolException
Response message: Non HTTP response message: Server redirected too many times (20)
OR
below error when replayed after removing redirect automatically
Response code: 302
Response message: Moved Temporarily
All the steps are executed properly. It even shows the login sampler result as

how connect remote site users to main office through isa server 2006

our main office subnet 198.73.0.0 – 198.73.255.255 we have we have 2 domain controller ,exchange server 2007 , isa server 2006 . symantec antivirus .
all users in the main office connected to the domain and dhcp clients all connect to the internet through isa server as a proxy server isa connect to the router of the ISP . recenly we have another site and connect to the main office bye wireless router. this simple diagram
remote site(192.168.0.0- 192.168.0.255) ————— router wireless(192.168.0.1) —————-router wireless (198.73.217.75)————– main office(198.73.0.0 – 198.73.255.255)
they ask me to connect the remote site to the database server only then i only add route to the database server and connect route add-p 192.168.0.0 mask 255.255.255.0 198.73.217.75 mask 255.255.0.0

now we need to connect all remote site users to the main network completly as part of network connect to the domain connect to all services like exchange and antivirus

how i can do that through isa server 2006

How to configure a Squid server?

My father lives out in the boonies and only has a slow internet connection. He browses maybe 5 to 10 sites on a daily basis but the load time is unbearable. I thought it would be nice to set him up a Squid Cache server that would refresh those specific sites on a nightly basis so when he wakes up he can have instant access to them. How would I do this?
