Salesforce Developer and Administrator exams are not very difficult. With a few months experience, you should be able to clear the exam. A good resource to get started is <a href=”http://www.forceprepare.com”>forceprepare</a>.
If you are using the newer versoin of the Force.com IDE, then you need to upgrade your Eclipse. Beginnning with the Summer ’09 release, you need 3.4.1 or 3.3.2. I would recommend you update to one of those versions, then grab the latest Force.com IDE. Personally, I am running Galileo with the latest IDE.
