The error I am getting sending to state B is a CPI9161.
Database TCP/IP or local socket connection ended.

The joblog also has this info

DDM communications ended abnormaly.
DDM communications request failed.
Cannot assign or release DDM file (s).
File MYFILE in MYLIB not available.

Here is the strange thing.
If I look for object locks, while the job has halted, none are found.

If I cut and paste the line of code to a command line and run it manually it works fine. I run this command under the same profile that the job is scheduled under.

I give the halt an ‘I’ to ignore, the rest of the DDM files in the CLP are copied with out further problems.

The host system is an i-Series running V6R1M1.
The state A system is an i-Series running V5R4M5.
The state B system is an i-Series running V6R1M1.

Any ideas as to where to look ?
